batting their way to victory again
On August 29th, Thomas Hassall Anglican College’s IPPSO Cricket team went to Hammondville Park where they battled against St Mark’s Anglican Community Day School in an exciting cricket match.
Thomas Hassall was fighting their way up the ladder so they couldn’t afford to lose this match. They had to play in really hot conditions and everybody was tired. As each Team strives to do their best, there can only be one winner and that will be judged on who can play the best, who has the best team work and who has the best strategies.
The juniors played a type of cricket called Kanga Cricket while the seniors played one called Super 8’s. In the end, Thomas Hassall’s training paid off as they won once again. The juniors and seniors both smashed the other teams. Everybody enjoyed the match, displayed good sportsmanship and most of all, had fun. That is what sport is really about.
